How Do I Save and Reuse Notice Templates?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to save the message on a payout or capital call notice as a template, use it again, update it, or delete it.

A notice template is a message you write once and reuse on later notices, such as a quarterly payout letter or a capital call cover letter. Templates belong to your workspace, so everyone on your team who can manage documents can use them. Payout templates and capital call templates are kept separate.

Save a Template

  1. Create notices for a payout or capital call. See How Do I Send Payout and Capital Call Notices?
  2. On the Message step, write your message. Use Insert Field to add details each notice fills in, such as the investor's name, the amount and the due date.
  3. Click Save as New Template, give it a name, and click Save Template.

Use, Update or Delete a Template

On the Message step, choose a template from the list. If the message is empty, it's filled in right away; otherwise click Use Template to replace your message. Under the list you'll see who saved it and when, and when it last changed.

  • Update Template replaces the chosen template with the message you're writing.
  • Delete removes the template. Notices already published keep their message.

If someone else changed a template while you had it open, Syndelo asks you to reload before saving, so no one's changes are lost.
