Who Handles Your Information

This draft Privacy Policy describes personal information handled by Syndelo Inc through our website, sponsor workspaces, investor portals, and related APIs. Syndelo manages its own account, billing, support, and security information. When a sponsor uses Syndelo to manage investors, we process those investor records on the sponsor’s behalf and instructions.

A sponsor’s own privacy notice and legal obligations also apply to its collection and use of investor information, including in a branded portal or custom domain. Contact the sponsor about its investment records or decisions. A shared login does not make your information available to every sponsor on Syndelo.

Information We Collect

Account and contact information: name, email, phone number, organization, credentials, authentication settings, memberships, roles, and preferences. Demo requests include your name, work email, company, team type, notes, and any selected plan; we use them to arrange a walkthrough. Information comes from you, your sponsor, authorized teammates, invitations, and connected services.

Investor and transaction records: profiles, addresses, investing entities, funding-source descriptions, institution names and account suffixes, commitments, holdings, contributions, distributions, questionnaires, accreditation status, and documents provided through enabled workflows. Uploaded documents may contain sensitive financial or tax information. Only provide information required for the task.

Billing and service records: subscription details, billing contact and address, payment-provider references, card brand and last four digits, invoices, support messages, and audit events. Stripe’s payment components collect full card details directly when live billing is enabled; Syndelo stores provider references and limited card metadata rather than full card numbers or security codes.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request and error logs, session identifiers, and activity needed to operate and secure the service. Third-party services may collect additional information under their own notices when you use them.

How Information Is Used

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, apply permissions, deliver sponsor and investor workflows, process software billing, communicate about the service, provide support, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and maintain operational and audit records. Sponsors use the records they control to administer their investor relationships and investments.

When an authorized user invokes an AI feature, the relevant instructions and selected context are sent to the configured AI provider to generate a draft or review. Investor-update drafting and compliance review use Anthropic when configured. Review submitted content carefully; do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the requested output. AI output is not a verified record or a substitute for professional review.

When Information Is Shared

Records are shared with authorized members of the relevant sponsor or workspace and with the investor users permitted to access them. Sponsors control many of these permissions. A person belonging to multiple sponsors must select the relevant account; membership alone does not authorize access to another sponsor’s records.

We use providers to operate enabled features, including hosting and storage, email delivery, Stripe for software billing, Signclad for signing, Accredd for accreditation, and Anthropic for AI assistance. Data sent depends on the workflow: for example, signing requires documents and recipient details, while billing requires payment and billing details. A provider listed here is not necessarily enabled in a preview environment.

Authorized integrations and API or MCP clients can receive data within their granted access. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. The current application does not implement advertising trackers or a sale of personal information; any future material change requires an updated notice and any legally required choices.

Cookies And Browser Storage

Syndelo uses session and security cookies to keep you signed in, protect requests, and operate account workflows. Blocking these cookies may prevent login or other essential functionality. Enabled third-party components, including payment and signing services, may use their own cookies or storage as described in their notices.

The current application does not implement cross-site behavioral advertising or nonessential marketing analytics. It has no separate response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. If future processing triggers a requirement to honor an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, that processing must support the required choice before launch.

Retention And Security

Information may be retained while an account or investment relationship is active and as needed for the purpose collected, sponsor instructions, accounting, security, legal recordkeeping, or resolving disputes. Different records may have different retention requirements. Closing access, canceling a subscription, or removing a membership does not automatically erase investment records, audit logs, or backups.

The application includes authentication, permission checks, workspace scoping, and activity records. No service or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your password and recovery codes, and report suspected unauthorized access. Final production retention periods, backup deletion procedures, hosting locations, and vendor arrangements must be confirmed before this policy takes effect.

Your Choices And Privacy Requests

You can review available profile settings and ask your sponsor to correct investor information. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to limit or opt out of certain processing. Some laws also provide a right to appeal a denied request or to use an authorized agent. These rights are subject to lawful exceptions, including records a sponsor must retain.

For information controlled by your sponsor, contact that sponsor using its established contact channel. For Syndelo-controlled account or billing information, a designated privacy contact and mailing address will be published here before this policy takes effect. Do not send passwords, full account numbers, or sensitive identity documents in an ordinary email request. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is fulfilled.

Where applicable, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete information and to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against someone for exercising applicable privacy rights. This draft does not claim that every state privacy law applies to every user or to Syndelo.

Age And Geographic Scope

Syndelo is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is initially designed for US sponsors and USD workflows. It is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact the responsible sponsor or Syndelo’s designated privacy contact once published.

Providers may process information in locations different from your own. Production hosting locations and any required cross-border arrangements must be finalized and reflected here before use outside the intended launch market.

Updates And Contact

Material changes will be communicated through an updated policy and, where appropriate or required, an in-product or email notice. The final policy will display its effective date. We will obtain consent where applicable law requires it rather than treating an updated notice alone as permission for a new use.

The service operator is Syndelo Inc. The business mailing address and privacy contact are pending confirmation. This is a review draft, not a claim that a privacy-request service or a particular legal compliance program is already operational.
