Capital call software
tied to every investor’s commitment.

Calling capital from a spreadsheet means recalculating each investor’s share and keeping track of who has funded. In Syndelo, commitments, classes, and calls share one record, so each investor’s share is calculated for you and never exceeds what they still owe.

For sponsors running funds or development deals that call capital in stages.

What you get

Commitments by class

Record each investing account’s accepted commitment in each investment class, with the acceptance date.

Calls split automatically

Enter a title, total amount, and due date. Syndelo splits it pro rata across each investor’s uncalled, unfunded commitment.

Guardrails

A call can’t exceed the capital still uncalled, so you can’t accidentally ask an investor for more than they committed.

Funded vs. outstanding

See accepted commitments, settled capital, and posted cash for each deal, and what each investor still owes.

A full audit trail

Every call is recorded in the audit log, and financial history can’t be silently edited after the fact.

How the split works

Say a fund has $1,000,000 in commitments: investor A committed $600,000 and investor B $400,000. Nothing has been called yet. You issue a $250,000 call.

Syndelo splits the call in proportion to what each investor still owes, so A is asked for $150,000 and B for $100,000. On the next call, each investor’s share is based on their remaining $450,000 and $300,000.

InvestorCommitmentCall shareStill uncalled
A$600,000$150,000$450,000
B$400,000$100,000$300,000
Total$1,000,000$250,000$750,000

Common questions

How is each investor’s share of a capital call calculated?

Pro rata by each investor’s uncalled, unfunded commitment in that investment, so investors who have already funded more are asked for proportionally less.

Can investors pay a capital call through Syndelo?

Not yet. ACH collection is planned. Today investors pay by your usual method and you record the contribution.

Does it work for funds with multiple classes?

Yes. Each investment can have multiple classes, and commitments are recorded per class.

How much does Syndelo cost?

Launch is $695 a month for up to 100 investors, $10M AUM, and 3 active vehicles. Growth is $995 for 500 investors, $50M, and 15 vehicles. Scale is $1,995 for 1,500 investors, $100M, and unlimited vehicles. Annual billing costs ten times the monthly price.

Can I sign up today?

Yes. Choose a plan on the pricing page to create your workspace, or book a demo first. Syndelo is still in preview: eSign and investor payments aren’t switched on for live use yet, and anything marked Planned is still in development.
