Why Does a Page Say I Don't Have Access?

For Sponsors and InvestorsBy Syndelo

Why Syndelo blocks a page or action and who can grant access.

Access in Syndelo depends on who you are in the current workspace. Sponsor team members have a role, and investors only see accounts and sections their sponsor shared. If something is blocked, the person who manages that workspace has to grant access.

Check these first

  1. Right workspace: you may be in a different sponsor workspace or investor portal. Switch from the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Signed in as the right person: one login can be a team member in one workspace and an investor in another.
  3. Reload: if your access just changed, reload the page or sign out and back in.

For investors

  • You only see investing accounts your sponsor linked to your login.
  • If you act for someone else's account, you may have limited access, such as viewing but not investing. "You are not authorized to invest for this account." means this.
  • Hidden sections show "This section is not shared in your investor portal." See Why Does a Portal Page Say It Is Not Shared?

For sponsor team members

  • Your role controls what you can see and change. Buttons may be missing or read-only without the needed permission.
  • You may be limited to specific records.
  • Some actions need a second person to approve, so you can't approve your own entry.

Ask a workspace owner or admin to change your role. See What Roles and Permissions Are Available?

Good to know

Syndelo Support cannot grant access to a sponsor's workspace or records. Contact the workspace owner or your sponsor.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.

Try It With Sample Data

Sign in to the shared demo workspace as a sponsor or as an investor. No signup, and nothing you do there sends real email or moves money.
