What Does the Removed Bank Connections Panel Mean?

For Sponsors and InvestorsBy Syndelo

Why a removed bank still appears, what each disconnection status means, and when to retry.

When you remove a bank, Syndelo stops using it right away. It then disconnects the bank at the provider in a separate step, which Removed Bank Connections tracks. It appears on Bank Transfers (ACH) for sponsors and on the funding sources page for investors.

Steps

  1. Find the Removed Bank Connections panel. It only appears when there is something to track.
  2. Check the Status of each bank.
  3. Click Refresh to reload.
  4. If Retry Disconnection shows, click it and confirm. Sponsors also confirm their identity.

Status meanings

  • Queued: waiting to disconnect at the provider.
  • Processing: confirming the disconnection.
  • Unknown: provider confirmation is pending. The bank stays disabled in Syndelo.
  • Waiting Shared: kept open because another linked account or pending payment still uses the connection.
  • Needs Attention: the disconnection needs review. Retry, then contact your workspace administrator if it does not clear.
  • Completed: the provider confirmed the disconnection.

Good to know

  • Retrying does not undo the removal. The bank stays removed either way.
  • A warning about an unconfirmed attachment, deposit request, or login exchange includes a setup reference. Give that reference to your workspace administrator. Do not add the same bank again until it is resolved.
  • To add a new bank, see Settlement Bank Accounts or, for investors, Add a Bank Account.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
