How Do I Change My Name or Photo?

How to change the name and photo on your login, and how that differs from the legal name on an investing account.

Choose your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open My Profile. Your name and photo there apply to your login across every sponsor.

Change Your Name

  1. Open My Profile.
  2. Under Personal Details, change Full Name.
  3. Choose Save Name.

Add or Change Your Photo

  1. Under Profile Photo, choose Upload Photo or Change Photo.
  2. Pick a JPG, PNG, or WebP file, up to 2 MB and 2,400 × 2,400 pixels.

Choose Remove Photo to take it off. Your photo is public and appears wherever your profile is shown.

This Isn't Your Legal Name

Your login name isn't the legal name on your investments. The name on an investing account goes on your forms and tax documents, and is changed separately. See How Do I Update My Address, Phone, or Tax ID?
