Open Funding Sources and look under Pay by ACH (Optional). Each investing account has a status for its verification with Moov, the payment provider. You need Approved before you can link a bank. The status updates on its own.
Statuses
- Creating Account: Moov is setting up the account. This takes a few seconds.
- Needs Answers: Moov needs more from you. Choose Continue Verification.
- Under Review: Moov is checking your details. Choose Review Answers to see what you sent.
- Checking Status: Syndelo is confirming the latest status.
- Finishing Setup: an older setup that continues on a secure page. Choose Continue Setup.
- Waiting for Approval: Moov is done, and your sponsor needs to approve the account.
- Approved: you can link a bank account.
- Legal Profile Changed: your account's legal details changed after verification. Contact your sponsor.
- ACH Declined: ACH was declined for this account. Pay by wire or check, or contact your sponsor.
- Stopped or Needs Recovery: setup didn't finish. Contact your sponsor.
Bank Account Statuses
Under Bank Accounts for ACH, each bank shows its own status. If it needs test deposits, choose Enter Deposits once they arrive. If it says bank setup is queued or processing, it isn't ready for payments yet. Open Bank Actions and choose Check Setup or Refresh Status if offered.
Good to Know
- ACH is optional. You can pay by wire or check if your sponsor offers them.
- If you don't see Pay by ACH (Optional) or Set Up ACH, you may not have banking permission for the account, or your sponsor hasn't switched ACH on.
- "Ask your sponsor to link your investing account before setting up ACH." means no investing account is linked to your login yet.
- Legal Details next to an account lets you fix the name, address, or tax ID used for verification.
