How Do I Send Payouts by ACH?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to set up ACH, link a settlement bank account, and send approved payouts by ACH.

ACH payouts are sent from a settlement bank account linked to the investment (or the workspace default). Setup and each batch of payouts need a second team member. Syndelo is not a bank and never holds funds.

Set up ACH

Go to Bank Transfers (ACH).

  1. Payment provider setup. Click Add Issuing Company if needed, then Start Setup and Open secure Moov setup. Moov asks for ID, business details, and consent to its terms. Come back and click Refresh Status. Another reviewer confirms who owns the account.
  2. Settlement account. In Settlement Bank Accounts, click Link Bank Account or Enter Account Numbers. If you enter numbers, confirm the two small deposits when they arrive. Another person reviews each new account before it is used.
  3. ACH Contract Limits. Click Prepare Policy and enter the limits from your Moov contract. Another finance reviewer approves them.

Send a payout by ACH

  1. Approve the payout first. See How Do I Run a Distribution?.
  2. On Money, open the Distributions tab and click Review on the approved payout.
  3. Under Send Payments by ACH, tick the ACH-ready investors and click Prepare ACH Batch.
  4. A different team member with Finance Approver permission clicks Approve & Send and confirms with their password and a second factor. If no one else in your workspace can approve, you can approve it yourself after confirming your password and a code.

Investors without a verified ACH payout account are paid by NACHA file, check, or manual payment. Use Switch to Manual to move one payout out of ACH. Cancel Batch releases a batch that has not been approved.

Track transfers

Bank Transfers (ACH) lists every ACH payment in and payout, filterable by direction, status, investment, and date. Failed or returned transfers show under Needs Attention. Payments are not retried on their own; an approver can click Retry.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
