How Do I Set Up and Verify Our Moov Account?

ACH is optional. Investors pay by wire unless you turn ACH on. When you want to collect money or send payouts by ACH, verify the issuing company with Moov, our payment provider. Do it on Bank Transfers (ACH).

Steps

1. Go to Money > Bank Transfers (ACH) and click Turn On ACH.
2. If no issuing company exists yet, click Add Issuing Company. It starts from your company profile.
3. Click Start Setup. The company linked to your investments is already chosen. Tick I Am Authorized to Set Up Payments for This Legal Account, confirm your identity, and click Start Setup.
4. When the account is ready, click Continue Setup and go through the steps in order:
   • Company: address, phone, website, description, business type and EIN come from your company profile. Pick the industry.
   • Owners: you're added first with your name and email. Add anyone who owns 25% or more, then click Everyone Is Listed · Continue.
   • Expected Activity: we estimate this from your raises. The average payment is the raise minimum, the largest is the biggest commitment allowed, and monthly volume spreads the target over the raise window. Investors are counted as 100% consumer, US only. Change anything that's off.
   • Terms: accept Moov's agreement.
   • Bank: connect the company's settlement bank account.
5. The status updates on its own. When it's Pending Review, a different team member with Finance Approver permission clicks Review, ticks I Independently Confirmed the Provider Account Belongs to This Legal Account, and clicks Approve Account Link.

Good to know

• Payments run in Moov's test mode until Syndelo turns on live payments for your workspace. No real money moves before then.
• You need Bank Manage permission to start or continue setup for an issuer. Finance Approvers review. The person who started setup can't approve it unless no one else in the workspace can. Then they approve it after confirming their password and a code.
• The EIN is sent from your company profile only when the issuer's legal name matches your company's. Otherwise enter it in the Company step.
• Unknown status means a request's result wasn't confirmed. Click Recover Setup and enter the existing Moov account ID or invite code. Don't start over.
• You also need ACH Contract Limits.
• If your legal details change later, use Legal Profile Reviews.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
