What Do My Payment Statuses Mean?

For InvestorsBy Syndelo

What each payment and payout status in the portal means and when your capital updates.

Each payment in and payout shows a status in Payment Activity. Your capital only increases, and a payout only counts as paid, once it is Settled.

Where to look

  • Activity in the Account menu lists every payment across your investments, with Investment, Investing Account, Type, Amount, Status, and Date.
  • Each investment page has its own Payment Activity panel.

Statuses

  • Pending: recorded by your sponsor and waiting for internal approval.
  • Approved: approved by your sponsor, but not yet confirmed as received or sent.
  • Processing: a bank transfer is in progress. ACH transfers can take a few business days.
  • Settled: the money arrived or was paid out. The date shown is the settlement date.
  • Returned: the bank sent the payment back, for example because of wrong account details or insufficient funds.
  • Failed: the transfer did not go through.
  • Cancelled: the payment was stopped before it settled.

Good to know

  • Telling your sponsor "I’ve Sent Funds" does not create a settled payment. It only lets them watch for it.
  • If a payout shows + Reinvested, part of it was put back into the investment instead of paid to you.
  • A payment marked Returned or Failed usually needs action. Contact your sponsor and check your bank details on Funding Sources.
  • Syndelo shows what your sponsor recorded. For questions about an amount, contact your sponsor.
