After your application, the Funding step shows your sponsor's instructions. You can also find them later on the investment's page by choosing How to Fund or Fund Now.
Your sponsor sets the payment methods. Depending on the sponsor, you may see wire details, check mailing details, or an option to pay by ACH from a linked bank account.
Find funding instructions
- During your application, the Funding step shows them automatically.
- Later, open the investment from My Investments. Choose How to Fund next to a position with money still owed, or Fund Now next to a capital call.
Instructions may stay hidden until you are allowed to fund, for example while an accreditation check is still in review. Some escrow-style raises let you send funds before your accreditation is verified; your sponsor still accepts your pledge only after it is. Money still to send also shows on your Home page under Needs Your Attention, with How to Fund.
Always confirm wire details with your sponsor through a phone number or contact you already trust before sending money.
If your sponsor changes where to send money after you subscribe, you get an email and a portal notice, and the funding page says the instructions changed. The email never contains bank details. Use only the details shown in the portal, and don't use any you saved or printed earlier.
Tell your sponsor you sent it
Under Already Sent the Money?:
- Choose How You Sent It.
- Enter the Amount Sent and Date Sent.
- Optionally add a Bank Reference or Check Number (Optional).
- Choose I’ve Sent Funds.
This does not move any money. It lets your sponsor watch for your payment. They confirm once it arrives.
Check payment status
Payments and their status appear under Payment Activity on the investment's page, and in Activity in the Account menu.
