What Does My Application Status Mean?

For InvestorsBy Syndelo

Plain explanations of each application status investors see in the portal.

Your application status is shown under Your Applications on Opportunities and on each raise card. Here is what each one means.

Statuses

  • Draft: you started but have not submitted. Your answers are saved. Choose View Application to finish.
  • Submitted: you sent it and your sponsor is reviewing it. You cannot edit it now. No money has moved.
  • Waitlisted: the raise was full when you submitted. You keep your place in line and can sign once your sponsor admits you.
  • Changes Requested: your sponsor wants something fixed. It shows on Home under Needs Your Attention. See How Do I Respond When My Sponsor Requests Changes?
  • Approved: your sponsor accepted it. If documents are still unsigned, Needs Your Attention shows "Sign your investment forms."
  • Rejected: your sponsor declined it. Contact them to ask why.
  • Withdrawn or Cancelled: the application ended, either at your request or your sponsor's.

Good to know

  • An approved application with signed documents moves to the Funding step, where you see how to send money.
  • Funding instructions appear only after you submit and your place is confirmed. Waitlisted applications cannot fund yet. Applications waiting on an accreditation review can sign, and can fund only if the raise accepts funds before verification.
  • Your application history is kept even after it ends.
  • Statuses for your money are separate. See What Do My Payment Statuses Mean?

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
