Cash you received but have not tied to an investor's pledge sits in Money Not Yet Assigned. You cannot pay it out until a reviewer confirms who it belongs to.
Find it on Money under the Accounting tab. Choose the Investment, then scroll to Money Not Yet Assigned.
Record the deposit
Click Record Bank Receipt and fill in the details. Approval records the cash as an amount owed from funds not yet assigned. Investor capital does not change.
Assign or refund it
Use the Allocate / Refund menu on the receipt:
- Allocate to Pledge assigns the funds to an investing account's accepted pledge. You can optionally link a Capital Call (Optional).
- Fund NAV Subscription applies the funds to an approved unit purchase in a fund.
- Record External Refund records a refund you already paid outside Syndelo.
Each step is sent with Prepare for Review and needs another reviewer. None of these steps add a second cash deposit or send money.
Returned payments
If a payment was returned, Record Recovered Cash records money you got back at the bank. Otherwise a finance reviewer can record the loss as an expense.
Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
