What Can't I Do in the Shared Demo?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

Which features are turned off in the shared demo, and what to use instead.

The shared demo is for exploring with fictional data, so anything that reaches outside Syndelo or changes a real login is turned off. You'll see a note on the page or a message when you try. To use these features, work in your own workspace.

What's Turned Off

  • Your profile and login: your name and photo, email, password, passkeys, recovery codes, and deleting the account.
  • API Access: API keys, webhooks, and AI app connections. You can still read the developer guides.
  • QuickBooks: connecting a company.
  • Team sharing: co-sponsor invitations and changing Staff Record Access.
  • Representative requests: you can't submit or review them.
  • Workspace setup: billing, team invitations, workspaces, web addresses, signing, and accreditation checks. Other changes outside the sample records show This action is unavailable in the shared demo. Use sample records only.
  • Money and bank steps: bank connections, bank instructions, payment provider setup, sending payments, and exporting bank files.
  • Email: capital call emails, raise invitations, and investor notices aren't sent. No real emails go out.

Good to Know

  • No real payments are made.
  • Other people use the same demo, so enter fictional data only.
  • Changes are erased each night.
