Some changes are sensitive enough that Syndelo asks you to prove it's really you, even though you are signed in. You see "Confirm this action with an email code or a passkey" along with a Current Password field.
When it appears
Examples include changing your email or password, exporting your personal data, transferring workspace ownership, deleting your account, removing a passkey, creating an API key, and changing a team member's record access. Bank and payment changes use a similar check.
Steps
- Enter your Current Password.
- Choose Send Email Code, then type the six-digit code into Email Code. Or choose Use Passkey and follow your device's prompt.
- Submit the form with its main button (for example, Save New Password).
Good to know
- An email code expires in 10 minutes and works once.
- You can request a new email code once per minute. If you ask too soon, you see "Wait one minute before requesting another email code."
- "The email code is invalid, expired, or has already been used." means you need a fresh code. Each code allows a few tries.
- A confirmed passkey covers only your next account action. You will be asked again for the action after that.
- Passkeys work only on the website where you created them. On a sponsor's custom portal domain, use the email code if your passkey isn't offered.
- If your security setup changes while a code is pending (for example, you change your password in another tab), older codes stop working.
- Account security changes are disabled for shared demo logins.
- These checks only work in your signed-in browser, not through the API.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
Try It With Sample Data
Sign in to the shared demo workspace as a sponsor or as an investor. No signup, and nothing you do there sends real email or moves money.
