Yes. Syndelo verifies accredited investors through its built-in integration with Accredd, a third-party verification provider. Investors start a check from the investor portal, Accredd reviews it, and your team tracks the result from the investor's profile and downloads the verification letter once the check is verified.
Steps
- Go to Investors and open the investor.
- Open the accreditation checks for the investing account you want. The page shows Verification Activity for that account.
- Use the Status filter (default All Statuses) to show only checks with one status, such as Verified, Failed, or Expired.
- Each record shows the legal name, Verification Method, investor type, and the Submitted, Last Checked, and Expires dates.
- Click Download Letter to save the verification letter when one is available.
- Click Back to Investor Details to return to the profile.
Good to know
- Accredd, Syndelo's third-party verification partner, reviews each check and issues the letter. Turn checks on or off in Workspace Settings under Integrations.
- Pricing: $79 per verified accreditation. You are not billed for failed checks.
- A check covers only the person or business named on the request, and only this sponsor and investing account.
- Reviewer feedback shows comments from the provider, such as why a check failed.
- A Status update note means Syndelo could not confirm the latest status yet. It will check again. Do not ask the investor to submit a duplicate.
- If a verified check has no expiration date, confirm validity with the provider before relying on it.
- Records marked as a test result (local test or Accredd test mode) are not live proof and do not come with a real letter.
- During an application, the accreditation letter also shows on the subscription review. See How Do I Review Subscription Applications?.
- See What Do Accreditation Statuses Mean? and How Do I Pause or Enable Accreditation Checks?.
Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
