How Do I Create a NACHA File?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to pay approved payouts through your own bank with a NACHA file.

A NACHA file lets you pay approved payouts through your own bank's ACH portal.

Create the file

  1. Go to Money and click Bank Files (NACHA).
  2. Under Payouts Awaiting Payment, choose the payouts and a funding source.
  3. Enter your bank details: Bank Name, Bank Routing Number, Settlement Account Number, Company Name, Company ID, SEC Code (use CCD if unsure), Entry Description, and Start Date.
  4. Only tick the balancing (offset) entry if your bank requires one.
  5. Click Create File.

If your workspace's approval rules require it, a separate reviewer must approve before anyone can download. Then click Download. The file contains full bank account numbers, so you confirm your identity to download it again.

After you upload

Upload the file to your bank's ACH portal. When each payment settles, open it on the Money Payments tab and click Record Settlement.

Void a file

Payouts in a file are reserved so they can't be paid twice. Click Void only if your bank rejected or never received the file. Voiding returns its payouts to Approved.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
