How Do I Set Up Two-Factor Authentication and Passkeys?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to set up a second sign-in check with email codes or a passkey, and how to use recovery codes.

Syndelo requires a second sign-in check. You can use email codes, a passkey, or both. Manage them from Two-Factor Authentication on My Profile or under Security in Settings.

Set up email codes

When you first sign in, Syndelo asks you to set up a second sign-in check before you continue.

  1. Under Verification Method, choose Email Code.
  2. Syndelo emails you a six-digit code.
  3. Enter it to finish.

Add a passkey

A passkey lets you sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your device PIN. Passkeys work on the website where you create them.

  1. Open My Profile.
  2. Under Two-Factor Authentication, choose Passkey as the Verification Method.
  3. Enter your Current Password and an optional Passkey Name (Optional).
  4. Follow your device's prompt.

To remove a passkey, choose Remove Passkey, enter your current password, confirm your identity, and choose Confirm Removal.

Recovery codes

Once two-factor authentication is on, you can create recovery codes. Use one if you cannot get an email code or use your passkey.

  1. Under Recovery Codes, choose Generate Recovery Codes.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Choose Download Codes and store them separately from your password.
  4. Choose I Saved My Codes.

Codes are shown only once. Each code works one time. A new set replaces all older codes and signs out other sessions. Changing your password, email, or security setup also cancels older codes.

Signing in

At sign-in, Syndelo asks you to verify it's you. You can enter an email code, choose Use a Passkey Instead, or choose Use a Recovery Code.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
