How Do I Sync My Calendar Meetings With Contacts?

Your calendar connects through the same Gmail or Microsoft 365 connection that logs your email. Once it is connected, Syndelo reads your meetings every few minutes and keeps only the ones with your contacts.

Connect Your Calendar

1. Open Settings and choose Email & Mailboxes under Investor Contacts.
2. Under Connected Mailboxes, click Connect Gmail or Connect Microsoft 365.
3. Sign in and approve access to your mail and calendar.

If you connected your mailbox before calendar sync was available, its row says Calendar not connected. Click Reconnect to Add Calendar and approve the calendar access. Your email logging keeps working the whole time.

What Syndelo Keeps

Syndelo looks at the last 30 days and the next 60 days. A meeting is kept only when a guest's email address matches a contact. For each meeting it keeps the title, the time, the organizer and guests, and the location or meeting link. Everything else on your calendar is ignored.

Private events stay private. If you mark an event private, Syndelo keeps only its time and the contacts on it. The title shows as Private Meeting, and the location, link, and other guests are not stored.

Where Meetings Appear

• Contact timeline: past meetings appear under All Activity and Meetings. If someone already logged the same meeting by hand within an hour of its start, the timeline shows only the hand-logged one.
• Contact page: the Upcoming Meetings panel lists the contact's next meetings with a Join Meeting link when there is one.
• Overview: the Upcoming Meetings panel on your dashboard lists your team's meetings with contacts over the next two weeks.

When two people on your team are invited to the same meeting, it shows once.

Good to Know

• Each person on your team connects their own calendar.
• A meeting you cancel or delete disappears on the next sync. So does one whose contacts were all removed from the guest list.
• Disconnecting your mailbox stops calendar sync too. Upcoming meetings from that calendar are removed, and past meetings stay in each contact's history.
• Meetings only show for contacts whose email address in Syndelo matches the one on the invitation.
