How Do I Change an Investor's Email Address?

You can change the email address on an investor's profile from their page. You need permission to edit investors.

Steps

1. Open Investors and click the investor's name.
2. Choose More Actions, then Edit Profile.
3. Under Contact Details, replace the Email Address.
4. Choose Save.

Good to know

• Each email address can belong to only one investor in a workspace. If another investor already uses it, the save is rejected. See Can I Delete or Merge an Investor? if you have a duplicate.
• Portal invitations are sent to the email address on the profile. Update the email before you invite the investor. See How Do I Invite Investors to the Portal?
• If someone else saved the investor while you were editing, you will be asked to reload before saving.
• The change is recorded in the investor's change history. See How Do I See Who Changed Something?
