How Do I Get Prospects From My Website Into the Fundraising Pipeline?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to share a signup link so prospective investors can register themselves and land in your fundraising pipeline when they show interest in a raise.

There is no embeddable form, but you can share a registration link on your website or send it directly. Choose a raise for new signups, and each person who signs up gets a card in that raise's pipeline as soon as they confirm their email.

1. Share your registration link

  1. Go to Settings and choose Investor Signup.
  2. Under Self-Service Registration, click Open Registration.
  3. Under Your investor registration link, click Copy Link.
  4. Add the link to your website as a button or link, or send it to the prospect.

2. Choose the raise for new signups

  1. On the same page, find Add Signups to a Pipeline.
  2. Choose the raise. Choose Don't Add to a Pipeline to turn this off.

After someone signs up and confirms their email, they appear in Investor Registrations, as a contact in Investors, and in the raise's first pipeline stage. Their card's source is Investor Signed Up. Closed raises can't be chosen, and nobody is added twice.

People who sign up from a public raise page, or from a raise invitation, land in that raise's pipeline instead of the one chosen here.

3. Approve them

With Approve Automatically on (the default), people you invited, people already in your CRM, and people who signed up from a raise page are approved as soon as they finish setup. Everyone else waits for you:

  1. In Investor Registrations, find the person. They show as Awaiting Review after they confirm their email and finish setup.
  2. Click Approve Access.
  3. Keep the new account Syndelo suggests (it uses the account type they chose) or link an existing Investing Account. Approval lets them invest.

4. Let them see the raise

Someone who signed up from a public raise page can see that raise once approved. For anyone else, the investor must be able to see the raise. Open the raise, click the Deal Page tab, and under Who Can See This Raise choose All Portal Investors, or invite them. See How Do I Control Who Can See a Raise?

Signups without a chosen raise

If you don't choose a raise, Syndelo creates the opportunity later, when the investor:

  • Reserves a place in an upcoming raise.
  • Indicates interest in an open raise.
  • Starts an application.

The card lands in the stage that matches what they did and moves forward as they apply, sign, and fund.

Add them by hand

To put someone in a different raise's pipeline, add the opportunity yourself: open the pipeline, click New Opportunity, and choose them as the Primary contact. See How Do I Track Prospects in the Fundraising Pipeline?

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
