Each investing account has preferences for who gets statements and who is named as a beneficiary. Edit them from the investor's profile.
Steps
- Open the investor from Investors.
- Scroll to the panel named after the investing account.
- Click Edit Preferences.
- Check or uncheck Send Statements to Account Users.
- Under Additional Statement Recipients, click Add Recipient and enter a Name and Email.
- Under Beneficiaries, click Add Beneficiary. Enter the Name, Relationship, Tier (Primary or Contingent), and Allocation. Contact details and SSN or EIN are optional.
- Check I Approve These Recipients and Beneficiary Records.
- Save.
You see Account preferences saved.
Good to know
- Extra recipients get PDF copies of statements by email. They do not get portal access.
- Beneficiary records are administrative only. They do not change who owns the investment or transfer anything.
- Each tier you use must add up to 100%.
- You can add up to 10 recipients and 20 beneficiaries per account.
- A saved tax ID shows only its last four digits. Leave the field blank to keep it, or check Clear Saved Tax ID to remove it.
- Statement Delivery shows Enabled or Disabled so you can see at a glance whether account users get statements.
- Edit Preferences only appears if you are allowed to edit this account.
- Investors can manage the same settings themselves. See How Do I Manage Statements, Beneficiaries, and Tax Forms?

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
