How Do I Sign In With Google or Microsoft?

How to sign in with your Google or Microsoft account instead of your password, how to connect or disconnect one, and why you still confirm with your second step.

If your sponsor's sign-in page shows Sign In With Google or Sign In With Microsoft, you can use that account instead of typing your password. It works on Syndelo and on your sponsor's own portal address.

Sign In

  1. On the sign-in page, choose Sign In With Google or Sign In With Microsoft.
  2. Choose the account that uses the same email as your Syndelo login.
  3. Finish the Verify It's You step with your passkey, email code, or a recovery code, just as you do after your password.

The first time, Syndelo connects that account to your login by matching the email. That only works when Google or Microsoft has verified the email and you have verified it with Syndelo too.

Connect or Disconnect

You can also connect an account ahead of time, or turn one off.

  1. Open Account Security: My Profile for sponsors, or Account → Account Security in your investor portal.
  2. Under Sign In With Google or Microsoft, choose Connect Google or Connect Microsoft. To stop using one, choose Disconnect.
  3. Enter your Current Password and confirm with your second step.
  4. To connect, choose the account for your Syndelo email when Google or Microsoft asks.

Common Problems

  • "No Syndelo login uses this email." Google or Microsoft can only sign you in to an existing login. Sign in with your password, or use the invitation your sponsor emailed you to create one. Signing in this way never creates an account or a workspace.
  • "Hasn't verified the email on that account." Use a personal Microsoft account, or ask your company's Microsoft administrator to verify your email domain. You can always sign in with your password.
  • "Verify your email once before using Google." Sign in with your password and enter the code Syndelo emails you. Then try again.
  • "This login doesn't have access to this portal." You signed in on a sponsor's portal you don't invest with. Use that sponsor's own sign-in page.
  • "Start signing in again in this browser." The sign-in has to finish in the same browser where it started, within 10 minutes.

Good to Know

  • Google or Microsoft only stands in for your password. Syndelo still asks for your second step every time, so a stolen Google or Microsoft password alone can't open your account.
  • Your Syndelo password keeps working. Keep it, so you can sign in if you lose access to the other account.
