Workspace owners remove a team member from Settings → Roles by changing their role to Remove Workspace Access. It takes effect on their next request.
Steps
- Open Settings and choose Roles under Access & Security. Only owners see this section.
- Under Workspace Access, find the person and choose Edit Access.
- For Role in This Workspace, choose Remove Workspace Access.
- Save. You see "Workspace access updated."
- Repeat in each workspace they had access to. Use Open Workspace on the Workspaces page to switch.
Clean up related access
- Pending invitations: on Team, choose Cancel Invitation next to any unaccepted invite. The link stops working.
- Investor account access: on Team, under Investor Account Access, choose Remove Access for any account they could act for.
- Relationship teams: edit any team under Teams that lists them, so investors aren't assigned to someone who left. See How Do I Group Investors by Relationship Team?
Good to know
- Owners can't be removed this way. There is no Edit Access button on an owner. An owner must first transfer ownership. See How Do I Transfer Ownership of a Workspace?
- Removing workspace access does not delete their Syndelo login. They keep access to other sponsors' workspaces they belong to.
- Records they created, approvals they gave, and their history in Change History are kept.
- Removing access still works if your subscription is paused.
- Freeing a seat lets you invite someone else within your plan's team member limit.
- To change a role instead of removing it, pick a different role in step 3.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
Try It With Sample Data
Sign in to the shared demo workspace as a sponsor or as an investor. No signup, and nothing you do there sends real email or moves money.
