What Do the Warnings on an Investor Mean?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

Explains each warning shown on investors in the directory and on their profile.

Warnings flag missing information or open items on an investor. They show in the Warnings column on Investors and as chips under the investor's name on their profile.

What each warning means

  • No Email: the investor has no email address. You cannot email them or invite them to the portal.
  • Missing Tax ID: an investing account has no SSN or EIN saved. You need it for tax forms.
  • Accreditation Not Verified: accreditation or other investor eligibility checks are not verified. Click Accreditation on the account to review.
  • No Verified Payout Bank: no verified bank account for payouts.
  • Setup Incomplete: the investor has not finished setting up their profile.
  • Unsigned Agreements: one or more agreements are waiting for signature.
  • No Investing Account: there is no account to own investments yet. Click Add Account on the profile.
  • Unsubscribed From Email: they opted out of campaign emails. One-to-one emails still work.

Filter by warning

  1. On Investors, open the filter for the Warnings column.
  2. Pick one or more warnings.

The list shows contacts that have every warning you selected.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
