How Do I Reuse My Answers From a Past Application?

For InvestorsBy Syndelo

How your earlier answers are filled in on new applications, and how to review answers your sponsor suggested.

You don't need to retype answers. When you start a new application with a sponsor, Syndelo fills in the answers that the same investing account gave on its most recent application with that sponsor in the last year.

How it works

  • Only answers to the same question carry over. If your sponsor changed a question or its choices, you answer it again.
  • Uploaded files and acknowledgment checkboxes (such as confirming you understand the risks) are never carried over. You tick those again for every raise, on the Review step.
  • On Questions, check the answers and choose These Answers Are Still Correct, or change anything that's out of date. If you go straight to Review, for example with Invest Again, tick These Answers Are Still Correct there or choose Edit Answers.
  • Answers stay with one investing account and one sponsor. They don't carry over to other accounts or other sponsors.
  • Submitting an application includes your consent to reuse its details for that account. Nothing is submitted for you: you always review and submit yourself.

Answers your sponsor suggested

Your sponsor can prepare suggested answers for an application. When they do, the Questions step shows Review Suggested Answers. Check each answer, choose the ones to use, confirm, and choose Use Chosen Answers. You can also save your current answers for a set number of days, and choose Revoke Saved Answers to stop them being reused.
