How Do I Edit a Logged Call or Meeting?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to edit a logged call or meeting and view its change history.

Open the call or meeting in the investor's activity and click Edit Activity. You must give a reason, and every earlier version is kept.

Edit an activity

  1. Open the investor from Investors.
  2. In the activity panel, click the Calls or Meetings tab.
  3. Find the entry and click Edit Activity.
  4. Change the Type, Subject, Date and Time (Your Time Zone), Length in Minutes, Status, Who Took Part?, Team Notes, or Result and Next Steps.
  5. Enter a Reason for Change.
  6. Click Save Activity.

See past versions

  1. Click View Changes on the entry.
  2. The Activity Changes window lists each version with its reason. Expand one to see what it said.

Status meanings

  • Planned: it has not happened yet.
  • Completed: it happened. Only completed calls and meetings count toward Follow-Up Signals.
  • Canceled: it did not happen.

Good to know

  • Logging an activity only saves a record. It does not send a calendar invite or email anyone.
  • Activities are for staff only. Investors never see them.
  • Edit Activity only appears if your role can edit investor records. Anyone who can view the investor can use View Changes.
  • Length must be between 1 and 1,440 minutes.
  • To log a new one, see How Do I Use an Investor's Profile Page?

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
