How Do I Tag Investors?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

Explains how to add, remove, create, and manage tags on investors.

Tags are labels you put on investors so you can filter, group, and email them. You can tag one investor at a time or many at once.

Tag one investor

  1. On Investors, click the investor’s Tags cell (it says Add Tags if empty). You can also edit Tags in the Tags & Teams panel on their profile.
  2. Click tags to turn them on or off.
  3. Click New Tag to create one. Enter a Tag Name, pick a Tag Color, and click Create Tag.
  4. Click Apply Tags to save your changes.

Tag many investors at once

  1. On Investors, check the boxes next to the people you want.
  2. Open Selection Actions and choose Add Tags or Remove Tags.
  3. Pick the tags and confirm.

New tag names you type here are created for the whole workspace.

Manage tags

Go to Settings and choose Tags under Investor Contacts.

  • Click Add Tag to create a tag with a name and optional color.
  • Edit or delete existing tags. Deleting a tag removes it from every investor and anywhere else it is used. This cannot be undone.
  • Click a tag’s contact count to see everyone with that tag.

Use tags

  • Filter the directory by tag using Filter. Choose Any Selected Tag or All Selected Tags.
  • Send an email campaign to Contacts with Tags. See How Do I Send an Email Campaign?

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
