Every agreement shows a status badge at the top of its page, and each signer has their own badge in Signing Progress. Click Refresh Status to pull the latest status.
Agreement statuses
- Draft: prepared but not sent. Sponsors can review files and values, then tick I Have Reviewed This Agreement and Its Recipients and click Send for Signature.
- Awaiting Signature: sent. Signers sign in the listed order. The next signer sees Review & Sign.
- Needs Attention: something went wrong with the signing provider. The error shows at the top. Sponsors can still cancel.
- Completed: everyone signed. Download Signed PDF and Download Signing Evidence appear.
- Declined: a signer declined to sign.
- Expired: the request expired before everyone signed.
- Canceled: a sponsor canceled it with a reason.
Good to know
- Sponsors can cancel only while an agreement is Draft, Awaiting Signature, or Needs Attention.
- For Declined, Expired, or Canceled agreements, sponsors can click Prepare Replacement to make a new draft. Completed general agreements (not subscription agreements) can also be replaced. Signed subscription terms need a separate amendment.
- A replacement never erases the original. Both agreements link to each other.
- Signing does not move money or create an investment balance.
- Test agreements are not legally binding.
- If the workspace is read-only, signing and refresh buttons are disabled.
