How Do I Countersign Agreements?

For SponsorsBy Syndelo

How to find every agreement waiting for your signature and sign them one after another.

When a subscription agreement needs your countersignature, it waits for you after the investor signs. You can sign them one after another from a single list.

Sign what's waiting

  1. Open Signing. Agreements waiting on your signature are listed at the top of Agreements.
  2. Click Sign Next. The oldest agreement opens.
  3. Review and sign it. When you finish, the next agreement opens on its own.
  4. Close the document at any time to stop. The rest stay in the list.

The list shows only agreements where you are the next signer, so an agreement whose investor hasn't signed yet won't appear. Each agreement is a separate document and gets its own signature.

Who countersigns

Each document in a raise's Document Sequence has a Countersigner. The default is the workspace owner. When you prepare an agreement by hand, Syndelo picks that person for the Sponsor role, and picks the investor when the account has only one authorized signer. You can change either before preparing.

Only owners and admins can countersign.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
