There are two ways. Add a published template to a raise's document sequence so investors sign while they apply, or prepare an agreement by hand in Signing and send it.
Option 1: Investors sign while applying
- Publish a subscription template first. See How Do I Create a Signing Template?.
- Open the raise and go to the Setup tab.
- In Document Sequence, click Add Document and choose the template. You can add up to 10.
- Optionally limit each document to certain classes (Only for Classes) or account types (Only for Account Types), and choose a Countersigner. The default is the workspace owner.
- Click Save Sequence.
- Make sure Document Signing is on in Investor Steps.
Investors sign these in order inside the investment wizard.
Option 2: Prepare an agreement by hand
- Open Signing and click Prepare Agreement.
- Enter the Agreement Name and choose a Published Template.
- Choose the Investing Account. Syndelo picks the signers when it can: the account's only authorized signer for Investor, and the countersigner (or workspace owner) for Sponsor. Change them if needed.
- Fill in any text fields the template asks for.
- Click Prepare Draft Agreement.
You can also prepare an agreement from an approved application in the raise's review window.
Review and send
- Open the draft agreement.
- Under Review the Document & Prepared Values, open the preview and check the values. Click Refresh Preview if files are still preparing.
- Check I Have Reviewed This Agreement and Its Recipients.
- Click Send for Signature.
The agreement is released to each recipient's portal, and each person signs with their own account. People sign in the listed order. Agreements waiting for your countersignature are listed at the top of Signing → Agreements. See How Do I Countersign Agreements?.
Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
Try It With Sample Data
Sign in to the shared demo workspace as a sponsor or as an investor. No signup, and nothing you do there sends real email or moves money.
