How Do I Email One Investor?

Open the investor's profile and click Send Email (the envelope icon). The message is sent, tracked, and logged to their activity.

Steps

1. Open the investor from Investors.
2. Click Send Email at the top of the page.
3. Optionally pick a saved template under Email Template and click Use Template.
4. Add Cc addresses if needed. Separate them with commas.
5. Enter a Subject and write your Message.
6. To personalize, use Insert Subject Field or Insert Field in the editor.
7. If you used fields, check the Personalized Preview.
8. Click Send Email.

You see Email sent and logged. The email appears in the Emails tab of the investor's activity.

Merge fields

You can insert Investor First Name, Investor Last Name, Investor Full Name, Investor Email, Workspace Name, and Sender Name. When fields are used, Syndelo builds a preview for this investor. Send Email stays disabled until the preview is ready. If the preview fails, click Retry Preview.

Good to know

• Send Email is disabled if the investor has no email address. Add one with More Actions then Edit Profile.
• The email is sent from your workspace name. Replies go to your own inbox.
• Opens and link clicks are tracked. Opens count only when the recipient loads images, so the real number can be higher.
• If the investor unsubscribed from campaigns, you see a warning, but one-to-one emails are still allowed.
• You can add up to 20 Cc addresses. Cc recipients get the same personalized message.
• Images cannot be added to one-off emails.
