Investors can ask for someone else, such as an advisor or family member, to act on their account. A sponsor team member checks the proof and approves or rejects the request.
Find requests
- All requests: go to Settings, choose Team, and scroll to Representative Requests.
- One account: open the investor's profile and scroll to Representatives for that account.
You also get a notification when a new request needs review.
Review a request
- Click Review on a pending request.
- Read the representative's name and email, the account, the requested authority, and the reason.
- Click Open supporting proof to check the signed evidence.
- Under Decision, choose Approve Verified Authority or Reject Request.
- Enter a Review Reason.
- Enter your Current Password and your two-factor code.
- Save.
Authority options
View Account Records is always included. Other options are Make Investment Requests, Sign Documents, Manage Banking, Access Tax Documents, and Manage Account Profile and Request Representatives. A request can also ask to remove someone's access.
Why can't I approve?
Warnings at the top explain what is blocking approval:
- The request expired. Requests expire after 7 days. The investor must submit a new one.
- The account's authority changed since the request. A new request is needed.
- The representative has no verified investor login. Invite them and have them finish registration first.
- For a removal, the person has no current authority to remove.
Good to know
- You need permission to manage the team, and two-factor authentication turned on.
- You cannot review a request you submitted, or one that names you.
- Only the person who submitted a request can Cancel Request. Cancelling leaves existing authority unchanged.
- Decided requests show Details instead of Review.

Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
