Open Settings and choose API Access under Connections. API access is included with the Growth and Scale plans, and creating a key requires permission to edit workspace settings.
Create a key
- Open Settings and choose API Access.
- Enter a Key Name, such as the system you are connecting.
- Choose when it Expires In: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year.
- Choose the Access: Read Only or Read & Write.
- Enter your Current Password, confirm your identity, and choose Create API Key.
- Copy the key right away. It is shown only once.
Store the key securely on your server. Never put it in browser code or share it with an untrusted AI tool.
The Public API panel also shows your Workspace ID and Base Path, and links to the documentation.
Good to know
- API keys have your current permissions and can never do more than your account can.
- Keys work only for you, in this workspace.
- You can have up to 25 active keys per workspace.
- AI assistants such as Claude connect through MCP with a sign-in instead of a key. See Connect an AI Assistant.
- Each key allows up to 120 requests per minute.
- If your plan changes to one without API access, existing keys stop working.
- Changing your password turns off your current API keys and disconnects AI apps.
Turn off a key
Under Your API Keys, choose Turn Off Key, then Confirm Removal. The list also shows each key's access, when it was last used, and when it expires. Anyone can review and turn off their own keys, even without permission to create new ones.
Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
Try It With Sample Data
Sign in to the shared demo workspace as a sponsor or as an investor. No signup, and nothing you do there sends real email or moves money.
