Closing a raise stops new applications but keeps existing ones open. Cancelling ends the raise for good and works through every application's obligations.
Close a raise
- Open the raise.
- Click Close Raise and confirm.
New applications stop. Existing applications and obligations remain open.
Cancel a raise
Cancellation cannot be undone. The raise cannot reopen.
- Open the raise and go to the Investors tab.
- In Raise Cancellation, click Start Raise Cancellation.
- Enter a Reason for Cancellation and check the confirmation.
- Click Start Cancellation.
New forms, agreements, and payments go on hold right away.
Finish the cancellation
- Click Start Remaining Application Exits. Each pass checks up to 100 forms. Unsigned forms with nothing owed can close at once. The rest stay under review.
- Resolve each applicant's duties and finish their closing. Use Review to open an application.
- Another reviewer clicks Review Final Cancellation. It checks all forms, funds still owed, and closings again.
After cancellation, applications, agreements, and financial history stay available. Refunds need their own review.
Syndelo is in preview. eSign and investor payments require live provider setup; a demo or sandbox action does not complete a live transaction. Confirm availability for your workspace before relying on either.
