Use Add Snapshot on an asset to record its occupancy, net operating income, debt balance, and valuation as of a date. The newest snapshot shows on the asset card.
Steps
- Open the investment and go to its Property or Assets tab.
- On the asset card, open Asset Actions and click Add Snapshot.
- Fill in As Of (required), then any of Occupancy, Net Operating Income (Period), Debt Balance, Valuation, and Note.
- Save. The card shows "As of" with the latest figures.
- To see every snapshot, open Asset Actions and click History.
Good to know
- Saving a snapshot for a date that already has one replaces it.
- NOI can be negative (for example -1,200.00).
- Remove a snapshot from the History window with Remove.
- The History action only appears once an asset has at least one snapshot.
- Investors who can see assets see only the latest occupancy and its date, not NOI, debt, or valuation.
