Open the investment, go to its Property tab (single deals) or Assets tab (equity funds), and click Add Asset. A fund can hold several assets, and each can have its own photo.
Steps
- Open the investment from Investments.
- Click the Property or Assets tab.
- Click Add Asset. In Add an Asset, fill in:
- Property Name and Property Type (required)
- Acquisition Date, Acquisition Cost, Units, Square Feet
- Street Address, City, State, ZIP Code, Country Code
- Description
- Save. The asset appears as a card.
- To add a picture, click Add Photo on the card (PNG, JPEG, or WebP). Use Replace Photo to change it.
Edit or Delete an Asset
- Open Asset Actions on the card and click Edit.
- In the edit window, click Delete Asset to remove it. This also deletes its snapshots.
Good to know
- You need permission to edit raises to add or change assets.
- Investors can't see assets until you turn on Assets (Properties) under Settings → Investor Portal Visibility (click Edit Visibility). The panel shows a reminder while it's off.
- When shared, investors see the asset name, type, location, units, square feet, acquisition date, latest occupancy, and description on their holding. Cost, NOI, debt, and valuation are not shown to investors.
- Debt funds use the Loans tab instead of assets.
- Track occupancy and performance over time with operating snapshots.
